When I lived previously in the UK I worked as a Technical Support Engineer for 2 years, where the role involved taking inbound calls and emails from customers regarding various types of technical issue (such as Office 365, software issues etc.), as well as making outbound calls/sending emails to resolve technical issues. In this role, I learned the basics of communicating well with customers via phone and email, as well as resolving their technical issues effectively and efficiently. I also learned the importance of teamwork in the workplace in order to resolve more complicated issues more efficiently. After this, I worked as an Appointment Setter for a US-based electronic health records company, where my role was to make around 60 cold calls per day to prospective clients to convince them to book a demo with one of our Sales Managers to see our product in action. In this role, I learned the basics of sales and building an emotional connection with prospects, so that they'll be more likely to be interested in whatever we're offering them. I managed to book several enterprise demos (>100 users) during my time as an Appointment Setter, and scored the most demos out of the team in one of the months that I worked there, which contributed significantly to the revenue of the company as a whole. Lastly,I worked as a Data Entry/Virtual Assistant for an Insurance Company.Entering and update policyholder information, claims, and billing records with 99% accuracy, Collaborate with underwriting and claims departments to verify client data and resolve discrepancies.Provided administrative support and entered policy applications, renewals, and client updates into internal systems.
