I am a person with a great passion for nurturing other people and helping them reach their potentials. With the enthusiasm to touch lives and positively influence others through mediated tools and platforms, I took mass communication as my major in a bachelor's degree. However, when my desire and passion to expand my network started to grow within my core, I took the risk to do a career shift. I have decided to study education, pursued masters and doctorate degree. The career shift that I made was the best thing that happened to me for I was able to embrace my life's purpose and mission which is to inspire young people to make their dreams happen with the skill sets that they have, guide novice teachers to better appreciate their worth as nurturer of our nation's hope as they venture the world of academe, and contribute to the development of the education sector through research. Now, I am a licensed professional teacher in the Philippines with collective experiences in educational leadership and administration particularly in designing relevant programs, developing instructional guides and contents, and creating policies in the areas of academics and student development in basic and tertiary education. I also have experience in managing media platforms of an international non-profit organization that empowers various youth-led groups and start-ups established globally that bring positive social changes in their field of influence. As an educator, I believe that education should always be grounded in values. My subject matter expertise or specializations are the following: project management, research communication, marketing and management, training and development media and communication, and teaching courses in education such as senior high school courses (K-12), life skills courses (student leadership and volunteerism), and professional development trainings for school key leaders (Academic Head/Dean, Assistant Principals, Homeroom Supervisors, Club Supervisors, Program Heads, and Coordinators).
