My name is Algilyne Gengania but you can call me Lyne. I'm 27 years old and I'm from the Philippines. I’d describe myself as a bubbly and friendly person. I get along with a lot of people, which is why I’m able to adapt quickly to different working environments. When it comes to work, the quality that I would like to highlight about myself is that I’m highly organized. I like to keep things in order and sorted out. I’m great at multi-tasking as well. I was an Office Secretary in the past, and I needed this skill to finish all my tasks during the day. I also had experience as a customer service representative for a BPO Company here in the Philippines. Where I answer real-time concerns from cardholders regarding their bank accounts. I can say that I’m an active listener because I can capture the customer’s concern and come up with a resolution right away. I was also an online English Tutor for Korean and Chinese students for almost three years. There, I was able to develop my exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. While I was teaching, I decided to look for a part-time job. And that’s where I landed my very first virtual assistant experience. So I was an inside sales agent for a Solar Company located in Florida. I was able to set up appointments and reach daily quotas. My tasks also included texting and emailing follow-ups to our leads. Then I decided to focus on this path and became a Real Estate Virtual Assistant for Realtors in the US. I was an Inside Sales Agent and a Database Manager. I did a lot of cold calling, lead generation, database management, and admin tasks. As you can see, I’ve worked in different industries, which has allowed me to become flexible. Since I’ve been working from home for the last four years, I can also say that I became independent and resourceful. I was able to solve problems and issues on my own with the help of Google, of course, and some other resources. Especially since I work with minimal to no supervision at all. I’m a fast learner and am very passionate when it comes to career and individual growth, so I try my best to learn new skills I can apply to my work to improve my performance and meet and exceed my clients' expectations.
