I'm passionate about helping people with 15 months of experience working as a member service for Highmark BCBS, I have handled commercial and direct pay accts where we verify their medical benefits, check if service needs prior auths, advise if there are any visit limits based on members plan specially with speech, occupational and physical therapy, We also verify if provider is IN Network and Out Of Network, For claims we look at if it was approved, rejected based on procedure codes. How much insurance is paid, members' responsibility, like copays, coinsurance. For the open enrollment period, I've been assigned to billing, where we process members' premium payments of their insurance, bill in questions, refunds, and autopayment issues
