February of 2018, I embarked on a journey of working in a BPO Company. I decided to apply to Sutherland Global Services to start my BPO career. At first it was very challenging, I had to learn new things and the culture in the said industry. I was first hired as a Sales representative for FTD (Florist' Transworld Delivery), we took orders over the phone and prepare them for delivery. March of the same year under the same BPO company, I was moved into a different LOB which is HughesNet as a Technical Support Representative. We took in inbound phone calls and assist callers with various problems pertaining to their Internet Connection. We we're trained to do basic and advance troubleshooting with different types of gadgets and equipment which is something that I can consider as an advantage as someone who works remotely. December of 2018 still with Sutherland another window of opportunity opened, so I took the chance to be moved to a different LOB. I was appointed as a Reservation Specialist for Hilton Hotels and all of its chain of hotels. We took in inbound phone calls and book appointment for our members over the phone. November of 2020, I had decided to part ways with my previous BPO employer and started working with Concentrix. I was hired as a Customer Service Representative for Aetna Medicare which is a Healthcare account. I started as an inbound agent who answers call for our members who has questions about their claims, prior authorization, benefits etc. After six months of taking in inbound calls, I was given a chance to be part of an Back Office Team under the same LOB. The fruit of my labor in Concentrix had paid off as I was promoted as a Program Ready Trainer under the same LOB. We we're given training and workshop for leadership and I successfully completed all the courses and I'm proud to be yellow belt holder. The primary task that was given to us is to train new CSR's that would help towards the advancement and growth of the company. Me being familiar with healthcare terms and knowing the fundamentals of a healthcare account will be of great benefits to your organization. I am also pretty confident with my skills in using MS Office applications.
