I am Kiara Nicole Mendez, 23, Single, Born and Raised on the small island of the Philippines, Bohol. I graduated in June 2022, and passed my nursing licensure exam in november 2022. I worked at the University of Cebu Medical Center as an Emergency Room Staff nurse right after. I have 7 months total work experience in which I am very grateful because I was able to collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care. Effective skills and in-depth knowledge applied promptly for patient condition assessment upon patient arrival at the ER during initial phases of acute illness or trauma by which I was able to utilize the Emeryency Severity Index training. With that, I learned how to properly assess and triage patients. It is vital in the Emergency room to continuously monitor ER patients, including alerting physicians or charge nurses to changes in patient status, communicating with patients and their family members while carrying the doctor's orders in a variety of traumatic situations and from there it strengthens my multitasking skills. Furthermore, performing medical procedures, and patient care activities such as ECG, venipuncture, cardiac monitoring and taking vital signs are very familiar to me as it is a part of my daily routine. We also used Bizbox as our Hospital Information system wherein it simplifies care coordination by improving access to patient history and health information and maintains medical documentation in a thorough manner through a database. I am still rendering my service here in my current job but one thing is for sure I don't have any full time job right after this. One unique fact I can share is, During my college years, I worked part time as an event coordinator to help my parents finance my nursing education. We plan, organize and coordinate events. I also learned from that experience how to manage my time, how to stay calm under pressure and most importantly how to communicate and deal with different attitudes and behaviors of a client and therefore i think i am capable of working with you. I may not have an experience as a virtual assistant but my past working experience made me believe that I am more than capable of learning new things with the skills and attitude I gained.
