Human Resources Supervisor
As a Human Resources Supervisor, I am mainly responsible in the completion of monthly and annual reports required by the Area Corporate Office. I work closely with the Director of Human Resources in ensuring reports are submitted on time and ad hoc reports are done promptly. I am responsible in ensuring files and data are updated (e.g. masterlist, headcount, turnover reports). Working in the Human Resources for almost 7 years, I have been exposed to different sections in the Division. I started as a Training officer and was promoted to Training supervisor. I was assigned in the Training department for around 4 years. I was groomed to become an HR Generalist, thus I was exposed to other areas such as Recruitment (handling online talent management system, arranging interviews and documents of applicants, tracking), Employee Relations (assisting in activities, preparing minutes of administrative investigations) and Compensation and Benefits / Salary Administration (preparing salary proposals and other reports required). My superiors have always seen in me the passion and eagerness to learn new skills and innovate and be resourceful - trying to find solutions during difficult situations. They have always trusted me that I can do the tasks given to me. I always have the heart to do theses tasks and see it as another learning experience for me. There may be times when I stumble along the way, and a few times that I felt like giving up but these obstacles has made me who I am now - an even better, stronger leader.
