I hold a Psychology degree, and my professional journey includes roles as an Executive and Medical Virtual Assistant for 4-6 years, as well as experience Customer Service Representative in the call center industry. These experiences have taught me the importance of empathy, compassion, and effective support, especially in the role of Virtual Assistant. I'm committed to treating co-workers, clients, and my work with dignity and respect. As a Virtual Assistant, I meet a lot of people, coming from all different backgrounds and beliefs working together in the workplace, which allows me to get along with other people. Also, our job has multiple conflicting priorities and it can be difficult to know what is most important, urgent, or less important. Where we typically work on two to three projects at the same time and are time-sensitive and work under pressure which means we do multitasking, like doing calls at the same time doing admin tasks. I highly value communication, and quality over quantity in my work, also my ability to stay calm under pressure allowed me to determine the right priority and complete the most urgent tasks first. I do have a workspace where it is comfortable and where I can focus on what I am doing. For me, working in a workplace in a harmoniously non-toxic environment is a great feeling rather than working in a toxic environment. Since, I have been working a remote set-up for how many years, for me to stay motivated, not only to provide my family needs. I also celebrate my achievements whether it is small or big by going out, eating in a restaurant, or going to the beach.
