Executive Assistant, Proofreader, Knowledge Base Expert, Marketing Representative, Podcast Editor, & Customer Support and Sales Representative
4.6
As far as qualifications and educational background, I pursued a Master's Degree in Literary Studies a few years back, which means that I'm proficient in speaking English. On the side, I worked for the St. Paul University Dumaguete's Research Office where I proofread research submissions for the Research Journal, designed posters for office announcements and the like, drafted office memoranda, conducted and scheduled meetings, and other such tasks. I was also working as a part-time college teacher at the time. I taught Communication and English subjects.
And during my two-year study leave, I worked as a Junior Editor for Valnet. This work experience made me hone my critical thinking skills and most especially my keen attention to detail, all the while contributing to the improvement of my writing prowess. That being said, I also had the privilege of working as a Marketing Representative, and that's what I owe a lot of my acquired skills to. I created content (e.g. blogs, social media posts, graphic designs, podcast show notes, etc.) to promote events and classes for a real estate association in the U.S., which enhanced a lot of my rapport-building and communication skills. I helped write blogs and create original social media content for them too through the use of Canva and a little bit of Adobe Photoshop. My most recent employment as an Executive Assistant also paved the way for me to master how to edit podcasts and export and post them to Transistor.fm and YouTube. These kinds of responsibilities light me up like nothing else can - I love doing creative stuff! I also love reaching out to people and creating relationships with them through either customer support and sales calls.
I have an outstanding proactive attitude and a "can do" mindset, and I'm able to solve problems through my resourcefulness. I take pride in my proficiency in speaking English, especially in creating relationships with customers and my colleagues. I believe that I'm easy to train because I can catch on easily. I would be a great fit for any Executive Assistant role, considering my work experience and qualifications. Apart from that, I am tech-savvy and have a knack for learning so working with me will be smooth-sailing.
