Hello, I'm Mary Rose Nonato, a 37-year-old single mom with a strong passion for customer service. I studied BS Hotel and Restaurant Management at Lyceum of the Philippines University, though I haven't completed my degree yet. Over the past 14 years, I've worked in customer service, helping people and making sure they have a positive experience. For me, assisting others isn't just work—it's something I truly love and take pride in. I spent 7 years in the sports betting industry, where I helped bettors across different sports. My role involved making sure they had the right information and support to make decisions and recommending additional services when appropriate. This job required me to know a lot about sports, respond quickly to issues, and handle multiple requests efficiently, especially in fast-paced situations. Afterward, I looked for new challenges and moved into the BPO industry. Over the years, I’ve worked on various accounts, from finance to legal services, adapting to each one’s unique needs. In my most recent position as a client support specialist for a health and wellness company, I processed customer orders and answered product questions through different channels like phone, email, and live chat using Zendesk. This role helped me strengthen my multitasking and problem-solving skills while ensuring quick and reliable service. Besides customer service, I’ve taken courses in graphic design and social media management. These have helped me become more creative and versatile in the way I assist customers. Although I love helping others, I sometimes find it hard to turn down requests from customers, which is something I’m learning to manage better. Recently, I completed basic training at TBO, where I learned how to manage healthcare processes like setting up patient accounts, verifying insurance, and placing DME orders. This training gave me the confidence to handle healthcare-related tasks and offer more specialized support. I’m excited to begin this new journey, bringing my passion, experience, and enthusiasm to the team. I look forward to contributing my skills and continuing to grow in this role.
