I am an alumna of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and graduated with a Bachelor in Advertising and Public Relations. During college, I was able to practice my written and
communication skills through our defense, thesis, on-the-job-training. I also acquire
these as we talked to different clients and Advertisers to help them make their best Ads,
Branding and Campaigns. Moreover, I have been working with the BPO industry for about seven years now. My first company was WNS Global Services where I worked for two years and with Sitel Corporations for five years. In my seven years of experience with BPO, I met a lot of people and I had spoken with unalike individuals of different ages, attitudes, and beliefs. I also handled lots of customers with contradictory concerns through phone conversations and emails. I can say that at first, it is overwhelming but as the days and years passed by, I learned how to adapt and communicate not only to my colleagues but also to every person I have to engage with everywhere I go. I became one of the mentors for the newly hired individuals, and I was able to share my best practices as well as my knowledge with them. This makes me happy and proud especially when I am seeing the people I mentored grow.
I also do call customers to set up appointments for store locations to get the best assistance whenever they need to drop by for an upgrade or phone check-up. I have been with an appointment setting campaign as well calling leads and setting up appointments for my clients to callback and position a sale, most of the leads that we handle are small businesses. In line with this, I was also trained to do data mining wherein we gather possible leads from search engines like Yelp.
Right now, I choose to only focus on one Expertise, which is working for Real Estate Campaigns to improve and to be more effective on what I do.
